                                                          Critical reflection & Refilming. 

    We are nearing the very end of this project bringing these 8 weeks to an end. In this blog post I want to talk about 2 things, the first one being about refilming and the second the critical reflection questions. the first thing about refilming is something i want to mention because I have covered a lot of the editing but wanted to mention the refilming of some of the clips that didn't turn out the way we wanted it or needed to add clips. We realized that once we had the clips together on adobe that certain clips would look better at different angles or in multiple clips instead of one, or honestly the acting was not good enough. For example some of the clips where it was just me needed to be re-done. Another issue we ran into that was solved with redoing something was the voice overs, some needed to be redone because they sounded to planned and not natural enough. It is harder than it seems to seem like these scripted words are coming off the top of your. So we just focused on talking slow and putting emotion into where there would be if having a conversation. Once we did all of the refilming and recording we moved onto the next steps in editing which are mentioned in blog post 2. 

    The next thing I want to touch on in this blog post is how I am doing in the critical reflection process in terms of getting things done. I am doing this reffering to the planning schedule I made to help organize how I am going to get everything done in the next 2 weeks. So far I have spent the last two days working on answering the critical reflection question, which I will attatch to this blog post. First the 4 four questions are...

• How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?
• How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?
• How did your production skills develop throughout this project?
• How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project? 
    Since I have finished the written questions the next thing to do is the 4 projects that are based off four questions. So far I have planned to do a podcast for the first question. my group will do the podcast together but will be giving our own separate answers and point of views of course. We plan on doing that on Wednesday. And on Wednesday I also plan on starting to do a Prezi for question number 3. And later throughout the week also start, and hopefully come close to finishing a power point covering question number 2. Leaving me to only have to figure out how I am going to approach question number 4.

WEEK 2 - Film Opening Portfolio Project

Week 2 Blog post 3   Technology:   The technology that we will be using for our project is simple . First, we will be filming on our own apple phones for our camera , which is an iPhone 13 camera. Besides the camera, our teacher does have additional equipment to better the quality of our filming . He has some mics to record voices clearly, if you have an intro that has dialogue . Although our video will have a voice over so we will record a voice memo and edit it to play over our video. Since we are going to be filming on ou r phones , we need tools that will improve the quality of our filming technique. So, we are offered to borrow a  tripod this will help tremendously with making shots steadier and more professional looking. CCR Post 2

 Critical Reflection Project #2           For the second CCR Post My group and I did a podcast. I also will be posting my answer typed out to get  a better idea of my interpretation and answer of the question across better. The question I answered was " How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?" My answer: I feel typical coming of age movies can vary in plot and maturity offering ways to entertain lots of different audiences . Although considering our film I feel that it gravitates towards a more spec i fic group with our characters and plot. I would say that it most closely targets young people, teenage age and thinking more specifically I would think that it target girls mor e than boys.
